Free Poker Tournaments (and How to Win Them)
If you are looking to play free poker, there are plenty of online
poker sites offering free poker tournaments. However, finding a
freeroll is a lot easier than winning them. In this article, are many
tips and techniques to help you increase your chances of winning a free
poker tournament.
The best freerolls I have found in the last few months are on two
of the internets most popular online poker sites, Full Tilt poker and
Poker Stars. Full Tilt offers several $100 free poker tournaments
throughout the day that pay cash to the winners. These tournaments
allow a maximum of 2700 players and pay the top 27. First place is $15,
while 27th receives $2. Not a great amount, however it could be the
start of your bankroll.
Poker Stars offers plenty of free poker tournaments as well. The
best free tournament pokerstars offers is the Daily Eighty Grand (DEG)
freeroll satellite at 13:35 EST. Registration is limited to 10,000
entrants and begins at 13:05 EST. If you want to play in this one, you
must register quickly, as it fills up within one minute after
registration opens.
Finishing in the top 5 spots of the DEG, will give you a $55 ticket
to the Daily Eighty Grand, with a prize pool in excess of $80,000.
Finishing 6th to 27th will put $5.50 in your account. If you choose not
to play in the DEG, you can unregister from the event and have $55 in
tournament dollars in your account to play any tournament on Poker
Stars.
In addition, Pokerstars offers several satellite freerolls
throughout the day for a chance in their weekly $2000 freeroll. The top
99 winners in their daily freerolls will be entered into the weekly
$2,000 Freeroll held on Saturday or Sunday. The $2K freerolls offer
cash prizes to the top 20% ranging from less than a dollar for last
place, up to $200 for 1st.

The basic strategy you need to employ in a free poker tournament is
to stay tight in the early stages. Take no chances as you will soon
find people are willing to risk all their chips on a draw, on any Ace

on for a quality hand, you will find it very easy to double and

Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.

ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
